About the Emerald Warriors

The Emerald Warriors RFC was formed in August 2003 to provide an open, inclusive and safe environment to watch, play and enjoy rugby. Today, the club boasts a large membership spanning players, coaches, Pavilion members and honorary members.

The club offers the opportunity to play competitive rugby with Men's+ teams in the Leinster Metro Leagues (Division 8 and 11), as well as a Women's+ team in Division 4 of the Leinster League.

Internationally, we compete in International Gay Rugby's Union Cup, as well as the Bingham Cup and the Amanda Mark Cup. Exceptional performances in 2025 saw us achieve our highest ever IGR rankings with the Men's+ Green team winning the IGR Union Cup in Oslo and the Women's+ Azure team finishing joint third and taking home the Emily Valentine Vase.

Mission Statement

We commit to promoting interest, knowledge and pride in inclusive rugby and supporting the appreciation and enjoyment of sport for all while working to ensure the highest standards of rugby experience, integrity and professionalism to nurture social inclusion and facilitate the sustainability of our club.

Our vision is to be the leading inclusive club, not only in Ireland, but in the world, leading by example and achieving success as players, coaches and supporters where our members and our allies are accepted and can participate in, and enjoy, the benefits of rugby, sport and its collective experiences.
