We are Warriors

The Emerald Warriors RFC was formed in August 2003 to provide an open, inclusive and safe environment to watch, play and enjoy rugby.  The club offers the opportunity to play competitive rugby in one of our two teams in both Ireland and the international stage.

Currently the club can boast a large membership of players, pavilion and honorary members.  The club competes in the Leinster Metro League Division 11 and 8.

The leading inclusive rugby club

At an international level The Emerald Warriors compete in the Bingham Cup and The Union Cup. Union Cup Dublin 2019, powered by Emerald Warriors, hosted the largest Union Cup to date.

It took place in Dublin City University from 07 to 09 June 2019 and involved 42 teams playing over 120 games of rugby over three days. Fifteen countries were represented during the tournament during which 1200 players partook and which was supported by over an additional 1500 people. The local economy had an expected €2.5 million boost from the tournament.

The Emerald Warriors’ vision is to be, the leading inclusive rugby club, not only in Ireland, but in the world, leading by example and achieving success as players, coaches and supporters through our pathway development and training.
